100% Wool Knitting Yarns from organic sheep

The following yarns pre-date the organic textile standards and are all that remain from our original range. They are produced from certified organic sheep, but cannot carry the Soil Association symbol. All replacement batches (plus all new yarns) will be fully compliant with the Soil Association Standards for Organic Textiles and will be listed on the Certified Organic Yarns page.

These environmentally friendly natural yarns are produced from sheep which are kept on organic land which is not treated with herbicdes, pesticides or artificial fertilisers.

•No harmful chemicals or inputs are used during processing.
•No chemical moth proofing•Natural herbal insect deterrents are used.
•No artificial flame retardents•Naturally flame resistant.
•No conditioners.
•No man-made fibres
•Just pure certified organic wool spun to reflect the nature of the fleece.

Please refer to sample cards for shades of available yarns. All ball bands show a batch number. Please ensure that you buy sufficient of any batch to complete a garment; because of the nature of the yarn, exact shades cannot be repeated.
