Conditions of Sale
These are the necessary bits of information, but whatever the law requires we will always do our utmost to satisfy every customer. If we have made a mistake, please tell us as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to put it right if we can.
We will acknowledge e.mail orders as soon as possible.
For yarns in stock we aim to despatch within 2 working days, but in any case within 28 days.
Samples are prepared to order and will be despatched as soon as possible.
For raw (unwashed) fleece orders we aim to despatch within 15 days.
For processed fleece (washed and/or carded) we aim to despatch between 15 - 30 days.
If any item is out of stock, we will offer an alternative(s) before despatching.
For every enquiry for hand knitting, we will discuss details and agree a specification including size before accepting an order. In the absence of a complete set of individual measurements for a garment, we will produce a garment based on the chest measurement requested. We aim to complete a knitting order within 30 days, but at busy periods this may be extended. We will give an estimated completion date at the time of ordering, and keep you informed if the completion date cannot be met for any reason. If you require any item by a particular date, PLEASE give us as much notice as possible and we will do our best to comply with your request. We will normally request a minimum 50% deposit before commencing the order. Full payment (including postage where applicable) will be required before despatching the order.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, customers have the right to cancel their order within 7 days. Any item produced to an individual specification (eg. Hand knitted garment to a specific size or style) cannot normally be returned under the Distance Selling Regulations unless the item is faulty when delivered or fails to meet the specification agreed in the contract.
If returning unwanted goods, please obtain a proof of posting because Garthenor Organic Pure Wool cannot be held responsible nor refund for non receipt of returns, even if "lost in the Post". Please note that Garthenor Organic Pure Wool will not pay the cost of return postage for goods correctly supplied, unless the goods are faulty when delivered. This does not affect your statutory rights.
